PARKING AT THE LOEWS HOLLYWOOD HOTEL

Valet only at the hotel. The cost is $38 per day. There are other parking garages near the hotel.

• Starline Tours/ TMZ Tours: Phone number – 1-855-4TMZ-TOUR.  Tours depart from the Starline terminal at the Chinese Theater located at 6925 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles CA, 90028. If you wish to make your own way to the terminal please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your tour departure time.  Terminal is not even a mile away from the hotel and can be easily walked too.
• Madame Tussauds Hollywood: If you don’t happen to catch the stars in person, visiting the Madame Tussauds wax museum is the second best thing. One of four locations in North America, the Hollywood museum features true-to-life representations of Hollywood icons, along with current TV and movie stars.
• Hollywood Highland Center: Many of the top things to do in Hollywood can be found at the Hollywood and Highland Center, an expansive complex of shops, restaurants and theatres. Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, the Dolby Theatre, Lucky Strike Bowling, and the epic cinema-inspired architecture are the main attractions at the center, which was constructed in 2001 and has ushered in a new era of Hollywood glamor.         
• Hollywood Walk of Fame:  A stroll down Hollywood Boulevard places some of the world’s biggest stars directly under your feet. Fifteen blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street include more than 2,400 embedded terrazzo and brass stars, honoring legends of film, TV, music, radio and theatre. Some of the walk’s most prestigious stars sit on the sidewalk just outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. 

• Santa Monica Pier:  is a fun place to go and an easy way to take in the beach when trying to see the best attractions in Los Angeles. The 1,600-foot-long pier opened in 1909 and still contains the circa 1922 carousel with 44 hand-carved horses, and the 1938 gate built by the WPA. A working roller coaster and Ferris wheel add to the amusement park atmosphere. Thursday nights during the summer bring on the Twilight Dance Series with top-notch bands rocking the pier.
• The Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits: Located in the heart of metropolitan Los Angeles, the Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits is one of the world’s most famous fossil localities. This onsite Museum displays Ice Age fossils — including saber-toothed cats, dire wolves and mammoths —  from 10,000 to 40,000-year-old asphalt deposits. But visitors can also watch the processes of paleontology unfold. Every day inside the glass-enclosed Fish Bowl Lab, scientists and volunteers prepare fossils including “Zed,” a recently discovered male Columbian mammoth. The Page Museum is currently excavating and studying a cache of recently unearthed fossils known as Project 23, an endeavor that could double the Museum’s already tremendous collection of more than three million Ice Age specimens and inform decades of new research. Outside the Museum, in Hancock Park, the Pleistocene Garden and iconic life-size replicas of extinct mammals depict the life that once grew, and roamed, in the Los Angeles Basin.  
• Hollywood Sign: If one attraction in particular represents the lore and mystique of Tinseltown, it is the giant Hollywood sign that overlooks the area from its perch in the rolling hills north of town. The sign, which was first erected in 1923, features 45-foot letters, has been restored to its original grandeur after falling into disrepair in the 1970s. You can view the famed sign from our hotel, which sits just southwest of the Hollywood hills.
• Universal studios Hollywood: One of the oldest and most famous active movie studios in Hollywood, Universal Studios is known as “The Entertainment Capital of LA.” One of the most diverse attractions in Hollywood, Universal Studios features a theme park, multi-screen theatre, working film studio and CityWalk, a collection of stores and restaurants. Guided tours of the studio are available.
• Griffith Observatory: Explore outer space and enjoy a stellar view of the Southern California cityscape from this landmark observatory. Griffith Observatory sits in the hills north of the city, offering commanding cityscapes, a number of space and science exhibits, and noteworthy art deco architecture.

• The Pig’n Whistle is one of the few remaining staples in Los Angeles that still offers patrons a true taste of “old Hollywood.”  In addition to the comprehensive menu and bar, they have live entertainment.  The menu consists of mostly sandwiches, pizza and pasta.  $$
• The Maui and Sons Bar and Grill:  Suring legends Maui and Sons and Sunset Entertainment untied to create Hollywood’s first beach bar and grill.  Enjoy Hawiian BBQ style cuisine and cocktails.  Mostly Hawiian food but this includes fish, burgers, cool starts, and vegetarian dishes.  This restaurant is fun, colorful and looks like a lot of fun.  They also have live music on the weekends.  $
• Mel’s Drive in:  It is a fun 50s themed restaurant that has all American food.  This place also has a lot of movie history with celebrities and is fun for all ages.  $$
• Hard Rock Café – traditional casual dining and live music. With state-of the art facilities, complete with cutting edge multimedia technology. $$
• Musso and Frank Grill:  Established in 1919, Musso’s is the oldest restaurant in Hollywood that many celebrities enjoy.  They serve a variety of food and drinks.  $$$
