Seattle Regional Symposium on Marfan, Loeys-Dietz, and VEDS
The Marfan Foundation and Seattle Children’s Hospital present a full-day educational opportunity for individuals and families living with Marfan, Loeys-Dietz, VEDS, and related conditions. The event includes a Creating Connections luncheon, which enables attendees to network with the speakers and connect with other people in the area who also have their condition. A concurrent program for children (ages 6-12) will be held.
Seattle Covid Policy: As COVID-19 continues to surge in our community, we are following strict guidelines to keep your in-person visit and hospital stay as safe as possible. All symposium attendees must provide COVID vaccine documentation in advance to complete their registration. Please watch for an email from DOCNETWORK, which will ask you to upload your vaccine information. In addition, everyone, including patients, families, and visitors, is required to wear a medical mask at all times at Seattle Children’s Hospital locations. This includes the blue masks we provide at entrances or KN95 masks that you can purchase. At this time, wearing a cloth mask or other face covering is not allowed. If you do not have your own mask, we will give you a mask as you enter the building. COVID policies may change as local public health authorities advise.
Medical Chairs: Luciana Young, MD, Seattle Children’s Hospital, Sherene Shalhub, MD, University of Washington, and Peter Byers, MD, University of Washington
