2024 Community-Curated Fashion Guide Released

We know that shopping for clothes that look and feel great can be challenging, particularly for those with taller stature, requiring specialized shoe sizes, or trying to find outfits that work well alongside assistive devices.
We’ve updated our fashion guide to help make finding fab fashion easier for our community. While not everyone living with a genetic aortic or vascular condition experiences physical symptoms that may make shopping for clothes more challenging, we are sharing the guide across our communities so that anyone who would benefit has access to time-saving links to retailers that offer options community members love.

In 2024, we’ve updated the guide so that it’s filled with choices our community members have curated and feel work well. Thank you for your input! We’ve included a section on adaptive clothing that makes room for assistive devices, easier grip pulls, and the like. The overall document is also structured to be as inclusive as possible so that community members can find options they like best, minus gender-based boundaries.

We will continue to evolve this guide over time by making periodic updates. If you have suggestions, please email them to brandcomms@marfan.org. Please note that links in the guide are provided for the convenience of our community members and are based on suggestions from the community. We do not endorse any particular retailers nor guarantee the quality of items, etc.
