Connect With Community Your Way

Community members are depicted gathering in different ways in person and virtually

November 2: New England Symposium: Living Better with Marfan, Loeys-Dietz, and VEDS, Burlington, MA

The Marfan Foundation and the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center welcome you to attend. The symposium is for individuals affected by Marfan, LDS, VEDS, Stickler syndrome and their families. Presentations will focus on both adults and children. You will have an opportunity to increase your understanding of your diagnosis and treatment; get your questions answered by local experts; and learn more about how to improve your quality of life. In addition, the symposium features a Creating Connections luncheon so that attendees can network with others living with genetic aortic and vascular conditions. Experts from Lahey and Boston Children’s will take part, as will retired pediatrician Dr. Ron Lacro — a member of the Foundation’s Professional Advisory Board.

November 9: New Jersey Symposium: Living Better with Marfan, Loeys-Dietz, and VEDS, Morristown, NJ

Register here!
The New Jersey symposium offers a similar opportunity to hear from local experts and connect with community. Hosted by the Foundation and Morristown Medical Center, part of Atlantic Health System, come out and meet Dr. Van Boxtel — the surgeon who made headlines when he performed heart surgery on twin brother living with Marfan. We expect brothers Pablo and Julio Delcid to take part in the event.
